How Pro unlocks
A signed file, checked on your device
There is one build of Hushbench and one license mechanism. The only thing that differs between plans is how the license file reaches you.

Buy a plan
Pay by card, PayPal or Apple Pay, or send a purchase order. You get a license file naming you or your organization, the tools it unlocks and its expiry.

Add it to Hushbench
In the browser, activate it from your account page. On desktop, import it from Help → Manage License, or let IT drop hushbench.license into the app's data folder.

Work offline
The app checks the license's Ed25519 signature on your device; it never calls home to check it. Subscriptions refresh the file when you happen to be online. Enterprise files never connect.

Does Pro need an internet connection?
Not to use it. The license file is checked on your device with a public key built into the app. Subscriptions (monthly or yearly) refresh a 35-day file whenever you are online, so go online at least once a month. Devices that stay offline longer should use an Enterprise or invoiced 1-year license.
What happens when my license expires?
Pro keeps working for a 7-day grace period with a visible reminder. After that the app goes back to Free. Nothing is deleted: your data stays on your device.
Can I use one Pro license on my laptop and my desktop?
Yes. A Pro license covers one named person on any number of their own devices. Activate it in each browser from your account page, or import the same file on each desktop.
How are Team and Enterprise seats counted?
Each seat is one named person. The app does not count or block seats; the license agreement does. Enterprise customers confirm their seat count in writing once a year.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Card, PayPal and Apple Pay through Paddle's checkout; Paddle handles VAT and sends the invoice. Team yearly plans can also be paid by invoice, and Enterprise purchases are by purchase order and bank transfer.
Is there a trial?
The Free workbench has no time limit. Organizations evaluating Enterprise can request a 30-day evaluation license file.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of a first purchase, no questions asked.
